Soapstone Kadais are sturdy, multi-purpose kitchen companions. With a little care, they can last for many, many decades. This is why our great grandmothers often passed it down from one generation to another. These Kadais are like an album for food memories, they store the memories of your grandmother’s priceless meals that you often relished.
These kadais can be used to make everything from the simplest poriyal to the slow-simmering gravies like Dal Makhani and Channa Masala. You can even use it to make some global cuisine favourites like Pasta sauce and Thai Curry too. They spread heat evenly and it is advisable to always keep the flame in medium.
The Soapstone Kadais are crafted masterfully by our rural artisans. They make it by hand and hence each piece is unique. We season these Kadais for three weeks at a stretch with organic Castor oil and turmeric so that you can use it as soon as you buy it. Our Soapstone Kadais come in sizes ranging from 1 to 4 litres.
