A seasoned Cast Iron Tawa is the unsung hero in every kitchen. From comforting fried food on rainy days to nutritive breakfast on long days, there is almost nothing you can’t cook on this Tawa. Every meal you cook in it not only has a wonderfully earthy flavor but also reminds you of the untouched goodness of the meals your parents and grandparents cooked in such a sturdy Cast Iron fry pan.
When you serve food cooked in this Tawa, you serve meals enriched by traces of iron and you serve memories from an earlier time when utensils were literally vessels that carried food that could heal you better than any modern medicine.
Each of our cast iron Tawa is made manually by skilled rural artisans and later seasoned by us for weeks at a stretch so that it can be put to use in your kitchen immediately. They are available in sizes ranging from 8 to 10 inches.
Note: Each of our utensils comes with an instruction card on maintenance and long-term care.
