Soapstone dosa tawa also known as dosa kal locally is primarily used to make “Kal” Dosa or spongy soft dosas. This tawa is well seasoned and can be used after purchase. Crispy dosas cannot be made on this “kal” unlike a iron or cast iron tawa. Only soft spongy dosas or oothappams can be made.
This sure is a special member in the kitchen as it adds flavour to your cooks.

We season the Tawa with turmeric powder, sesame oil, castor oil and rice water in different processes for 3 weeks.

Clean using regular dish wash soaps or liquids.
